Pokémon Go Wild Area Gigantamax Machamp Timed Research and rewards

Pokémon Go’s 2026 Wild Area events in Sendai and Mexico City bring a Gigantamax Machamp Timed Research set for players worldwide, including those not attending in person. Machamp could be useful against event targets Duraludon and Dialga, which are weak to Fighting-type moves.

Players have until the end of Sunday, 15 November, to finish the research. The tasks can be completed through regular play, but rewards including Machop Candy and Max Particles are time-gated: players need to catch a Pokémon on at least five separate days. Completing the research gives 30,000 Stardust and 10 Ultra Balls.
