How to efficiently farm Gloom and Gold in Mortal Shell 2?

Only one of the stories here actually addresses this. The most efficient approach, per current guidance, is to focus farming runs on the later stages of Mortal Shell 2, since high-tier Tarforge upgrades become far more costly and that's where targeted Gloom and Gold runs pay off most [1]. Beyond that general pointer, I don't have coverage on specific routes, enemies or locations to farm.
