5 Incredible Anime Arcs That Are 10/10, No Notes

The article selects five anime story arcs it considers close to perfect, arguing that a strong arc raises the stakes, tests characters and builds towards a meaningful emotional payoff. It says these arcs can stand out even within flawed series, and that their impact often comes from the way characters’ goals and relationships change as events unfold.

The supplied text discusses the Promised Day arc in *Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood*, where many factions unite against Father’s 400-year plan, while Edward’s personal journey remains central. It also examines the *Berserk* Golden Age film trilogy, praising its portrayal of the changing bond between Guts, Griffith and Casca, despite uneven animation.
