A permanent Pokémon store will open in London, with more locations outside Asia to follow
The Pokémon Company plans to open several permanent stores outside Asia, with the first set for London by 2029. The move gives fans in Europe a local place to visit, rather than relying on travel to Asia or occasional pop-ups.
The London shop is expected to sell exclusive merchandise, as previous pop-ups have done, including one at the Natural History Museum earlier this year. The company has not yet named other locations; it previously ran Pokémon Center New York from 2001 until the site became Nintendo’s flagship store four years later.
