Amazon’s new Kindle accessories restore physical page-turn buttons to ereaders
Amazon has unveiled three Kindle accessories alongside its refreshed ereader range, including a Bluetooth remote that brings back physical page-turn buttons. The remote lets readers advance pages without touching their Kindle, while a new button-equipped cover and charging stand offer hands-free reading for some premium models.
The Kindle Click costs $35 and works with all Kindles currently shipping, as well as the new models; it includes a wrist strap and has equally sized page buttons. The $80 Page-Turn-Cover and the wireless charging stand are compatible only with the new Paperwhite and Colorsoft Signature Edition models, which have pogo pins. The accessories are available to pre-order and are due to ship on 28 October.
