Angine de Poitrine Debut Third Member On Triangle

Montreal art-rock duo Angine de Poitrine briefly became a trio during a sold-out show at Toronto’s HISTORY, introducing an unnamed musician who played triangle on a new, untitled song. The appearance adds a mysterious new figure to a band whose rapid rise has drawn attention to its theatrical performances.

The musician appeared in a new costume and struck the triangle once before the song began, then played it more as the track continued. Setlist.fm listed the person as “Poitrine”, though the article says this could not be confirmed; fans have also speculated about the musician’s identity and the song’s purpose.
