Wynonna Judd to Receive ASCAP Golden Note Award: ‘A Singular, Powerhouse Voice’
Wynonna Judd will receive the ASCAP Golden Note Award at the ASCAP Nashville Songwriters Celebration on 16 November in Nashville. The award recognises major career milestones, and the honour highlights Judd’s influence on American country music as both a member of the Judds and a solo artist.
The Judds, the duo Wynonna formed with her mother Naomi, won nine CMA Awards and scored 14 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Wynonna also achieved multiple chart-toppers as a solo artist; the Judds entered the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022. Judd recently released her ninth solo album, *The Hard Truth*, her first album on which she co-wrote the songs, and is touring North America on a 33-date run.
