BTS’ j-hope Joins Forces With Streetwear Legend Nigo for New Nike Sneakers: How to Shop the Drop

BTS member j-hope and Japanese streetwear designer Nigo have collaborated on a colourful Nike Air Force 1 sneaker, extending j-hope’s work into fashion and adding to Nigo’s series of reinterpretations of the shoe. The release matters to fans and collectors because it offers another chance to buy the design after its initial launch through Nigo’s Human Made label.

The Nike x Nigo x j-hope Air Force 1 goes on worldwide release on 22 October for $150 through Nike’s SNKRS app and selected retailers. Inspired by a slimmer 2001 version of the shoe, it features Burnt Sunrise and Metallic Gold panels, blue accents, patterned laces and squirrel graphics linked to j-hope’s nickname; Nike has not said how many pairs will be available.
