Developing story first seen 4 hours ago
Cage the Elephant have released “Make It Easy”, the latest single from their newly announced seventh album, *Dying in Reverse*. The song follows “Beaches in Tennessee” and the title track, and the band debuted it on *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* earlier this week.
The album is due on 5 February via Big Loud Rock, marking the band’s first release since leaving RCA and following 2024’s *Neon Pill*. It took shape after the group opened for Oasis on US reunion dates in 2025, was produced by Justin and Jeremiah Raisen, and coincides with the band’s 20th anniversary. European and South American shows are planned for 2027, but no North American album tour has been announced.

Explained simply
Cage the Elephant are an American rock band formed in Kentucky in 2006, known for songs that draw on alternative rock and punk. The group is led by singer Matt Shultz and includes his brother Brad Shultz on guitar.
Dying in Reverse will be the band’s seventh studio album and follows Neon Pill, released in 2024. Its creation came after the band played US reunion dates with Oasis in 2025, linking the new record to a major period of touring as Cage the Elephant mark 20 years together.
