ChatGPT will now make you animated GIFs
ChatGPT can now create animated GIFs from a text prompt or an uploaded photo, with controls to adjust playback speed, edit individual frames and share the result. The feature arrives with OpenAI’s Images 2.6 model and lets users make GIFs directly in ChatGPT.
OpenAI says Images 2.6 also generates images faster. Users create more than 4 billion images each week across ChatGPT and its API, up from 3 billion a week reported in September. The update is rolling out to ChatGPT and Codex users on web, desktop and mobile, while Flare and Sunburst versions are launching through the API.
