Chelsey Summey Departs As Warner Bros Head of Communications

Chelsey Summey has left her role as Warner Bros’ Head of Communications as Paramount takes control of the studio. Her departure is one of several expected as the ownership change proceeds, signalling potential shifts in Warner Bros’ leadership and communications team.

Summey joined Warner Bros as senior vice-president of communications in January 2024 and later reported to film chiefs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy. She oversaw communications for Warner Bros Pictures and several associated divisions, advising on business and reputational issues. Before joining, she led corporate communications for Amazon MGM’s film group and held senior communications roles at 20th Century Fox.
