Damson Idris And Jonathan Levine Team On Apple And Chernin Thriller ‘Sacrament’

Apple Original Films is developing Sacrament, a thriller with Jonathan Levine attached to direct and Damson Idris attached to produce. The film is planned as a starring vehicle for Idris, bringing him back together with Apple after the success of F1.

Written by Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson, the story follows two Chicago police officers turned contractors who pursue a runaway thief to a remote, fortified township in Utah. Their routine job turns into a fight against a stronger opponent and a test of their partnership. The project is in early development, with Chernin Entertainment producing alongside Idris’s Keep Quiet Productions and Levine and Gillian Bohrer’s MegaMix.
