DISTURBED’s DAN DONEGAN: ‘We Have’ A New ‘Album Sitting There That We’re Trying To Figure The Timeframe’ To Release
Disturbed have completed recording their next album, and guitarist Dan Donegan says they are working out when to release it. The band’s current plan is to put it out sometime in 2027, alongside a return to Australia, New Zealand and Asia, making new music possible before those spring tour dates.
Donegan said the band has a substantial amount of material and will review it once more with singer David Draiman and drummer Mike Wengren before making a final announcement. He described the songs as combining Disturbed’s recognisable aggression and melodic elements with older influences, including riffs drawn from demos he wrote in the late 1990s. No release date has been set.
In short

Explained simply
Disturbed are an American rock band formed in the late 1990s, known for heavy guitar riffs and singer David Draiman’s distinctive voice. Dan Donegan is the band’s guitarist and one of its songwriters; Mike Wengren plays drums.
The band’s albums are made through a process of writing, recording and reviewing songs before choosing when to release them. Touring plans can affect that timing, as bands often coordinate new music with live dates.
