Deadline · 1 hour ago

NBC and the Television Academy have revealed the first wave of presenters for the 78th Emmy Awards, to be hosted by Mariska Hargitay on 14 September. The line-up points to two notable reunions: Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd from the original 1976 Charlie's Angels, marking the show's 50th anniversary, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz ahead of the cult series' 30th anniversary next March.

Also confirmed are Schitt's Creek alumni Dan Levy and Annie Murphy, the latter possibly featuring in a tribute to the late Catherine O'Hara, alongside Zendaya, Sally Field, Alan Cumming and recent Emmy winners Linda Cardellini and David Harbour. Further names include Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, Macaulay Culkin, Niecy Nash-Betts, Julianna Margulies, Amy Poehler, Florence Pugh and several NBCUniversal stars such as Peter Krause and Keke Palmer. The ceremony airs live from the Peacock Theater on NBC and Peacock, produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment alongside Hargitay.
