Fantasy football QB chaos has managers turning to unlikely Week 9 streaming options
A wave of injuries, benchings and trades has disrupted NFL quarterback line-ups, pushing fantasy football managers to consider unfamiliar starters for Week 9. The article identifies Drew Lock, Carson Wentz and Joe Milton as the strongest streaming choices, while warning that Gardner Minshew and Shedeur Sanders carry greater risk.
Lock previously threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns against Arizona, and has a strong group of Seattle receivers. Wentz is presented as a better fit for Minnesota’s offence, with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson as targets. Milton is a riskier option for Philadelphia, but his ability to run could add value; 40 to 50 rushing yards and a touchdown would boost his fantasy score.
In short
- Quarterback changes have made Week 9 difficult for fantasy managers.
- Drew Lock and Carson Wentz are highlighted as strong streaming picks.
- Joe Milton offers rushing upside, but carries more uncertainty.
