‘Fear Factor’ Vertical Scripted Spinoff Set To Launch On Holywater Tech’s My Drama From Fox & Endemol Shine North America

Fox Entertainment Studios and Endemol Shine North America are turning the Fear Factor franchise into its first scripted series, a mobile-first horror story for Holywater Tech’s My Drama platform. The move extends the franchise beyond reality competition and marks My Drama’s entry into scripted horror.

The untitled series will have 30 episodes, each three minutes long. Set during preparation for a horror television show, it follows a crew whose haunted fortune-telling machine subjects them to personalised death trials. A release date has not been announced; the project follows the renewal of Fear Factor: House of Fear for a second season, after its debut drew 17.5 million multiplatform viewers.
