Former SYMPHONY X Bassist THOMAS MILLER Announces Debut Album From Solo Project LAZARUS EFFECT

Blabbermouth · 1 day ago

Sensory Records has announced the debut self-titled album from Thomas Miller's Lazarus Effect, a new project led by former founding Symphony X bassist Thomas Miller. The announcement marks Miller's return to a prominent recording project after stepping away from Symphony X years ago, and reunites him with former bandmates guitarist Michael Romeo and keyboardist Michael Pinnella, who both contribute to the new record.

The album grew out of a 2017 collaboration between Miller and vocalist Hollywood How Portney, and was mixed and mastered by Eric Rachel, longtime producer of Symphony X and bands including Black Sabbath and The Black Dahlia Murder. Described as a 49-minute progressive metal opus likely to appeal to fans of Symphony X, Dream Theater and Kamelot, the eight-track record is set for release on CD, LP and digital formats on 30 October, with lead single "When Darkness Falls" already available to stream.
