Halestorm has released a professionally filmed live video of their cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "Perry Mason", marking the first anniversary of his death on 22 July 2026. The performance was recorded at BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, Ozzy's hometown, and the band described it as a way to honour the "Prince of Darkness" on what they called Ozzy Osbourne Day.

The track, originally from Ozzy's 1995 album "Ozzmosis", was filmed on 23 November 2025 and forms part of a three-song set Halestorm performed at last year's "Back To The Beginning" farewell concert in Birmingham, which celebrated Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Band members, including guitarist Joe Hottinger and frontwoman Lzzy Hale, have since spoken warmly about the emotional atmosphere of that show, which also featured Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Metallica. Ozzy died on 22 July 2025 aged 76, with his death certificate citing a heart attack alongside coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease.
