Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is marking the end of *Stranger Things* with new attractions in Hollywood and Orlando based on the show’s fifth and final season. Opening on 3 September in Hollywood and 28 August in Orlando, the experiences complete Universal’s adaptation of the series and reflect the franchise’s role in attracting younger audiences to the event.

Universal first introduced a *Stranger Things* haunted house in 2018, as the Netflix series became a global hit, and organisers say it broadened Halloween Horror Nights’ demographic. The Hollywood attraction occupies the 5,000-square-foot Soundstage 15, while Orlando is also launching its first lagoon show; both resorts offer themed food and drinks, including dishes inspired by Eleven, Hopper and the Hellfire Club. Creatives developed the latest house using confidential briefings from Netflix before viewing the finished season.
