Journey drummer Deen Castronovo suffered a medical emergency during the band's concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday night, forcing the show to pause after just two songs. The incident occurred during the band's Final Frontier farewell tour, with Castronovo subsequently hospitalised.
Keyboardist Jonathan Cain addressed the crowd, asking for prayers for Castronovo, whilst founder Neal Schon later confirmed the drummer had been taken to hospital. The concert resumed approximately ten minutes later with drum technician Steve Toomey taking over, and Schon dedicated the remainder to Castronovo.
