‘KPop Demon Hunters’ star Ejae says Leonardo DiCaprio was reason for vocal mistakes at BAFTAs: “He made me so nervous”

Ejae, the singing voice of Rumi in Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, said Leonardo DiCaprio’s presence in the BAFTAs audience made her nervous during her February performance. She recalled cracking on some high notes and said making eye contact with the actor distracted her amid the pressure of performing before high-profile guests.

KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s most watched film ever, with a sequel and global live tour among planned spin-offs. Ejae said the film’s success has been overwhelming, while a behind-the-scenes book, The Art Of KPop Demon Hunters, is due in September in standard and platinum editions.
