Natasha Lyonne accused of ‘going full MAGA’ after Trump posts spark backlash

Natasha Lyonne drew debate over her political views after saying she preferred Donald Trump to JD Vance in response to a video of a protester confronting the vice-president. Some social media users read the remark as support for Trump, while others said it was only a comparison between the two politicians.

Speculation grew when Lyonne reposted Trump’s message thanking Elon Musk for pledging SpaceX stock to fund accounts for millions of American children, adding four emojis. After users asked whether she had become a Trump supporter, Lyonne replied, “Not maga.” The article says she and the White House were contacted for comment.
