Neurable One headphones track focus and suggest when to take breaks

Engadget ·

Neurable has launched the Neurable One, a pair of premium headphones with built-in EEG sensors that track users’ focus during the working day. The company says the device can identify when concentration is strongest or begins to fade, then suggest when to take a break.

The headphones also report measures such as Alpha Peak Frequency, brain age and mental processing speed, and estimate how sleep affects next-day function. They have 40mm beryllium drivers, six microphones for noise cancellation and ambient sound, and offer up to 22 hours of audio playback, falling to 12 hours with EEG monitoring active. They are available for $499.

  • Neurable One combines EEG focus tracking with premium headphones.
  • EEG features include focus, brain age and processing speed measures.
  • The headphones cost $499 and last up to 12 hours with EEG on.
