The survey found Democratic challenger Brian Poindexter leading Miller by eight points in Ohio's 7th District, a seat Donald Trump won comfortably at the last election, prompting concern among Republicans about holding the district.

The poll, conducted by Tavern Research among 635 likely voters, put Poindexter ahead of Miller 54 percent to 46 percent. That marks a striking shift in a district Trump carried by eleven points two years ago. The allegations stem from claims made in court by Miller's ex-wife, Emily Moreno, which Miller disputes.
