Noel Hedges has joined Canada’s Boat Rocker Studios as Senior Vice-President, Global Acquisitions and Content Strategy, based in London. In the newly created role, he will pursue intellectual property acquisitions, rights deals and co-production partnerships to increase the long-term value of Boat Rocker’s content portfolio.

Hedges brings more than 25 years of experience, including senior positions at DRG, ITV Studios, Cineflix and eOne, which was acquired by Lionsgate. He will report to President of Global Content & Rights Jon Rutherford, start in early October and attend MIPCOM with the company; Boat Rocker operates across Toronto, London, Los Angeles, New York and Hong Kong.
