Reel out garbage from a flooded planet and make number go up as satisfyingly as you can in the incremental fishing game Selkie’s Salvage&Co.

Rock Paper Shotgun ·

Selkie’s Salvage&Co. is an incremental fishing game set on a flooded planet, where players collect rubbish for Selkie, an anthropomorphic rat who created their robot character. The game turns environmental clean-up into a progression loop, gradually giving players more capacity and tools to gather waste.

Players begin with a fishing rod and a limited-capacity magnetic arm, then spend collected rubbish to improve their gear, add an automatic net and earn bonus points by shooting airborne rubbish. Past-world artefacts such as a basketball and a recycling guide can provide mechanical bonuses. A demo is available, and the game is due for release on 27 October.
