Netflix has confirmed that "Stranger Things: Tales from '85" will return with new episodes on 17 September, marking the franchise's swift comeback less than a year after the flagship series concluded. The animated spin-off, from creators Matt and Ross Duffer, debuted earlier this year as a full-season binge release and was quickly renewed, underscoring Netflix's determination to keep the lucrative Stranger Things universe alive following the fifth and final season's conclusion.

Season five of Stranger Things wrapped up its run at the start of the year, with the finale even receiving a limited theatrical release. While no full-scale revival series has yet been announced, Netflix has confirmed a second spin-off is in early development, centred on the mysterious rock found by a young Henry Creel. Star Sadie Sink has since moved on to high-profile roles, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and an upcoming X-Men film.
