‘The Cycle Of Love’ To Return To Cinemas For One-Day Only Engagement: Extraordinary Romantic Tale From Director Orlando Von Einsiedel
The romantic documentary The Cycle of Love will return to cinemas for a one-day screening event on 1 November, with showings across the United States, including Hawaii. Directed by Oscar winner Orlando von Einsiedel and executive produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the film’s re-release follows two nominations at the Critics Choice Documentary Awards.
The film tells the story of PK, a young artist from a poor, so-called “untouchable” family, who cycled nearly 6,000 miles across almost a dozen countries in 1977 to reunite with Lotta, a Swedish woman he had fallen in love with in India. It uses dramatisations because little archive footage exists, with Chirag Lobo and Mina Dale playing the young couple. The film is nominated for Best Director and Best Cinematography, and will be available to rent or buy digitally from 2 November.
