As of Friday morning, 1,246 general-sale tickets cost $865 to $1,125, while 5,864 were on Fifa’s resale platform; the cheapest were $455 plus a 15% fee. Some premium tickets were being resold below face value, including a category one ticket reduced from $1,125 to $659. The World Cup final also had limited unsold and resale availability, with standard top-priced tickets up to $32,970 and one resale listing at $2m, although seller-set resale prices do not show what buyers are actually paying.
