TORANAGA UK, a Bradford-based thrash metal act that developed a devoted following during the 1980s and early '90s, have mounted a substantial career revival following a prolonged period of dormancy. Frontman Mark Duffy reconstituted the group in 2024 with a new ensemble and has since reestablished their presence through live performances and newly recorded material that merges their characteristic thrash aesthetic with classic heavy metal touches.

The band's resurgence has accelerated with news of a recording contract with Fireflash Records and confirmation of a European tour launching in October, where they will perform as supporting acts to metal veterans ONSLAUGHT and THE PROPHECY 23. A new studio album currently undergoing final production phases represents the next major release from the reconstituted outfit.
