Vocci has launched a lightweight titanium ring designed primarily to record meetings and turn them into transcripts, offering a discreet alternative to pendants, pins and card-shaped note-taking devices. It records effectively, including in noisy cafés, but its jewellery-like appearance raises privacy concerns because the recording indicator faces the wearer and others may not realise they are being recorded.

The ring weighs under 6 grams, records for up to eight hours per charge and comes with a case that can recharge it three times. Double-tapping starts and stops recording, while the app provides transcripts, highlights and AI-generated summaries, but reviewers found the software confusing, repetitive and slow to add integrations such as reminders and external assistants. At $249, it is also relatively expensive compared with alternatives such as Plaud and Pocket.
