Warner Music Group Shake-Up: Val Blavatnik joins, Elliot Grainge adds ADA, Simon Robson exits
Warner Music Group is reshaping its global leadership team as it targets its next phase of growth. Val Blavatnik has joined the executive team as Managing Director for Warner Music North America, the UK and corporate development, while Simon Robson will leave in December after nearly 30 years with the company.
Guillermo Gonzalez becomes President of Warner Music EMEA, Andrés Rothschild will lead Warner Music Iberia, and Alejandro Duque becomes President of Warner Music International, adding EMEA and APAC to his existing responsibilities. Elliot Grainge and Zach Friedman will also take senior US roles at ADA, Aaron Bay-Schuck will become sole Chairman and CEO of Warner Records Group, and Duque will continue overseeing ADA outside the US.
