Variety ·

Skarsgård wore an intricate wicker suit and prosthetic makeup designed to move with his face; Colman was the first cast member to see the finished look. Elizabeth Debicki recalled being startled by the costume on set in Budapest. The low-budget independent film opened in fifth place, taking $5.75 million from 1,471 locations, after Black Bear acquired it for $2.5 million following buzz at Sundance.
