X said it suspended accounts violating its authenticity policy, while OpenAI had previously reported China-linked users using ChatGPT for similar anti-data-centre material; concerns about grid strain and rising power costs are nevertheless real, with Goldman Sachs reporting US electricity prices up 6.9% year-on-year as of February 2026.
