‘Sherlock’ Star Martin Freeman Officially Returns With New Murder Mystery [Exclusive]
Martin Freeman stars in *Flavia: Girl Detective*, a new mystery film in which an eleven-year-old amateur sleuth investigates a murder after her father is arrested. The story gives Freeman a new detective mystery role, following his turn as John Watson in *Sherlock*.
Molly Belle Wright plays Flavia, who teams up with Inspector Hewitt, played by Toby Jones, to clear her widowed father, Havilland de Luce. The film adapts Alan Bradley’s 2009 novel, the first in a 12-book series, and is directed by Bharat Nalluri; it is due in cinemas on 4 December.
