Charley Crockett Takes Aim at Jack White, Again
Country singer Charley Crockett has renewed his public feud with guitarist Jack White, exchanging pointed social media posts on 19 August 2026. The spat began after Crockett booked "Satanic doo-wop" duo Twin Temple as opening act for his Age of the Ram tour; when the duo later said they were dropped over their satanic imagery, Crockett accused them of fabricating the row, prompting White, who had since offered Twin Temple a support slot on his own tour, to publicly side against Crockett.
The row escalated into a war of words over who has been more politically outspoken throughout their careers. White mocked Crockett by posting the lyrics to a novelty rap parody, while Crockett hit back with a lengthy, since-deleted post invoking Jay-Z, calling White "Mr. Suzy Cream Puff" and accusing him of hypocrisy over his 2003 political statements versus his current lifestyle. Crockett's latest post, ending with a boxing-glove emoji, suggests he intends to keep the confrontation going, though it remains unclear whether White will respond further.
