Logitech has released the Blue Yeti 2, a successor to its long-running USB microphone, adding automatic audio adjustments based on the user’s position. Its 3D proximity sensor can alter gain, equalisation and pickup patterns as the speaker moves, while AI noise reduction targets sounds such as mouse clicks and keyboard keystrokes.

The microphone records at up to 24-bit/48kHz and includes a redesigned three-capsule array, several directional modes, headphone monitoring, a capacitive mute button, control dial and five presets. A 1.3-inch display shows settings through a Yeti mascot, with custom avatars available in Logitech’s G Hub software; the microphone costs $160 and comes in black or white.
