Love Is Noise Announce New EP ‘The space between happiness and heartache.’
Love Is Noise have announced a new EP, ‘The space between happiness and heartache’, due for release on 9 October through Bloodblast. The record follows the band’s 2025 debut album and centres on an unnamed character who constructs an artificial world to avoid confronting their emotions, exploring the ways people reshape themselves to cope with modern life.
Vocalist Cam Humphrey said the band deliberately avoided giving the story a fixed explanation, aiming instead to leave room for listeners’ own interpretations. The four-track EP includes new single ‘smile.’, which features guest vocals from Casper Frisk of PALESKIN; Humphrey described it as an uplifting song about pursuing happiness, love and self-worth.

Love Is Noise are a British alternative band whose music combines heavy guitars with melodic vocals. Their debut album came out in 2025, and their songs often explore emotional struggles and the ways people respond to them.
The band’s new four-track release builds its story around a character who invents an artificial world to avoid facing difficult feelings. The character is left unnamed, and vocalist Cam Humphrey has said the band wants listeners to form their own interpretations. The themes connect to questions about how people change themselves to cope with life today.
