‘Masters of the Air’ Meets ‘Saving Private Ryan’ in First Look at New WWII Movie

Filming has begun on *I’ll Get By*, a British independent Second World War drama about American airmen stranded behind enemy lines after their B-17 bomber is hit during a mission over occupied France. The story is set after D-Day, as the shifting front line makes survival uncertain.

Josh Bolt and Louis Ashbourne Serkis lead the cast, which includes Cameron Ashplant, Spike White, Robert Rhodes and Reggie McHale. The production is using LED Volume technology at a studio in Norwich to recreate the bomber’s wartime environment, before filming moves to Guernsey. No release date has been announced.
