New ‘Attack on Titan’ Release Officially Delayed Indefinitely
Kodansha USA has indefinitely postponed the planned Attack on Titan Definitive Edition, a premium hardcover re-release of the manga. The publisher says the project has not been cancelled, but a production issue has delayed the entire release, leaving fans without a revised date.
Originally announced for spring 2026, the edition was later listed for 1 December 2026 at $54.99. It was expected to combine volumes one to three in a faux-leather, gold-foiled, library-bound format with colour pages not included in the Japanese edition; these volumes cover the story’s opening arcs.
